The first entry of my blog is for the photo hike on the last weekend of February to the Pine Forest of Lillo.

The Pine Forest is located between Cofiñal and El Puerto de las Señales in the town of Puebla de Lillo (León). It is one of the few native pine forests that remain in Spain and where the scots pine (pinus sylvestris) can be enjoyed in all its glory.

The route is circular, with departure and arrival on the bridge of the Hitos. The access is restricted so it is necessary to apply for a permit at the Council of Environment of the Junta de Castilla y León.
